Payments & billing

Postcodewise is a postcode reports and location data product from Digitsflow LTD. Website report credits, API lookup quotas and workspace services are managed separately. The current app is free to start; higher-volume API or workspace work is quoted before billing.

1. Website & reports

Postcode‑linked reports and public research tools may be accessed in line with technical measures and acceptable use policies. Verified accounts can open 5 postcode reports each month for free. For unlimited reports and the full toolset, paid plans (Pro and Business) are available on the pricing page. Creating an account is governed by our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. Free monthly reports are not the same as API monthly lookup quotas.

2. Developer API access

API keys have their own monthly lookup quota. The current self-serve key starts with 50 API lookups per month. Higher-volume Professional or Enterprise access is confirmed by agreement before billing.

Current overview

  • Free starter API key with 50 monthly lookups
  • Professional API quota by written agreement
  • Enterprise API or SLA support by written agreement

3. Organisation workspaces & workspace services

Business accounts may use workspaces for jointly managed assets such as customer surveys or location uploads, and services described under Services. Self-serve workspace features are free to start. Paid onboarding, exports, support, capacity commitments or SLAs only apply when confirmed in a quotation, workspace agreement or equivalent order form.

Auto-renewal & cancellation

Self-serve workspace subscriptions renew automatically each month via Stripe. Cancelling stops the next renewal — we do not pro-rate partial months unless the quote or order form says otherwise. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing or by emailing [email protected].

4. Taxes & invoices

Where applicable, quotations and invoices will state whether prices are exclusive or inclusive of UK VAT. Commercial customers needing a VAT invoice should provide accurate company particulars when asked.

5. Payments & processors

Paid subscriptions (Pro and Business) are purchased through a self-serve card checkout operated by Stripe, which handles card details and displays its terms before purchase. We do not store complete card numbers on Postcodewise application servers. Cancel any time from your billing settings; access continues to the end of the paid period.

6. Cooling‑off & refunds

Your statutory rights as a consumer in the UK are not limited by policy wording alone. Separate rules attach to downloadable or streamed digital content, quoted workspace services and custom enterprise agreements. In general:

  • Where UK law grants a 14‑day cooling‑off period for distance contracts, that period runs from the day the contract is concluded unless you asked us to begin performance early and acknowledged that you may lose the right once delivery starts.
  • Once you have used a paid API allowance or other metered entitlement agreed in writing, refund eligibility may be limited in the same way law permits for consumed digital or metered services.
  • Custom project or workspace fees quoted under a statement of work are handled per that document and any separate commercial terms.

To discuss a refund or billing dispute, email [email protected] with your account email and relevant invoice, quote or agreement IDs.
